Opened in late 2005
Leura Remedial Massage is a therapy clinic that
is
second to none.
Run by owner Kirsty Sinclair who
graduated in 2003 with a Diploma of Health Science, and
achieved Top Student for the Year as well as being
awarded Student Therapist of the Year by her
professional massage association (AMT), she is a
highly regarded therapist.
Currently teaching
in the Health Science (Massage Therapy) department of
TAFE Blue Mountains, her commitment to and passion for
massage therapy is clear in her approach to treatments
and in teaching the fundamentals to others.
Kirsty has been practising for 6 years in a variety of
remedial clinics and spa facilities to develop the style
of massage that she uses today.
Corey McWhinnie says "Health is important". " Paying
attention to my own optimum health, I appreciate the way
the body adapts/responds to injury, sickness and dis-ease."
Corey completed a double qualification in Remedial
Massage and Aromatherapy through TAFE Blue Mountains.
She has been practicing at LRM, since graduating in 2007
with an award for excellence. Her approach to Remedial
Massage is outcome based, whereby goals are set for the
client and measurable outcomes are monitored eg
reduction in pain.
To
further her knowledge Corey is studying a Bachelor of
International Health, with a goal to working in
Orthopaedic Massage and women's health education.
Corey is a versatile Massage Therapist providing
Remedial and Aromatherapy treatments suited to each and
every individual.
